Sloane Labs
About Us // The Origin

Sloane Labs began with a founder who hit a wall.

A few years ago, our founder hit a wall. A sustained period of burnout stayed with him for years. He had not understood the toll his work was taking on his body until recovery became unavoidable.

Workload Recovery Sloane intervenes

When he looked around, he realised he was not alone. In demanding organisations, people often carry a growing load without a clear way to understand what it is doing to their capacity. Most tools record the outcome after the fact rather than helping while there is still time to respond.

Sloane Labs was built to make those changes easier to understand. Our words-first, multimodal system brings together physical and working signals, then offers practical coaching through conversation.

We do this by building a private, secure digital model of your normal patterns. It connects physical signals with the tools you use at work, so Sloane can consider recovery and workload together without exposing personal data to your employer.

One unbroken context. Yours alone.

We work in four quiet moves. We connect your wearables, calendars and team tools in minutes, with no new habits or manual logging. We learn your baselines and the rhythms of your operation, so we know the difference between a hard period and a harmful one. We coach in the flow of work, by text or voice, the way you’d talk to a trusted coach. And we measure every suggestion against what happened next, keeping what worked and dropping what didn’t.

Three tiers, one coachAND-gated
Tier 01

Physiology

Reads wearables continuously and learns your personal baseline. It scores strain against you, never against a population average.

Tier 02

Work

Reads the shape of the working day from calendars and team tools. Metadata only, never message content.

Tier 03

Coaching

Only acts when the first two agree. It reasons, forms a hypothesis, and proposes one small intervention. Nothing moves until you approve it.

The coach only wakes when physiology and work agree

Underneath, three separated tiers do the work. A Physiology tier reads your wearables and learns your baseline. A Work tier reads the shape of your day from calendars and team tools, metadata only. A Coaching tier only acts when the first two agree, reasoning over both streams and proposing one small, specific intervention.

The result is a coach that keeps pace with ordinary life. It notices changes across your body and your working day, then speaks when there is something useful to say. It is not another dashboard to keep checking.

The text you type is processed for the conversation and handled according to our privacy controls. Sloane stays quiet until a meaningful change needs your attention. When recovery falls as work pressure rises, it explains what it has noticed and offers a practical next step. Read our privacy policy.
