Phase 4. The autonomous coach.
Phase 4 is the point where Sloane stops waiting. It watches your baseline and your working day, decides when something is worth your attention, and comes to you with one specific suggestion instead of a dashboard.
Acting first
A dashboard only helps the people who open it, and the people who most need it are the least likely to. Phase 4 inverts that. Sloane reaches out through whichever channel you already use, with a short message you can act on or dismiss in one tap.
The bar for interrupting you is high by design. Most days Sloane says nothing.
The three-tier gate
Tier 1 watches your biometrics for a genuine departure from your own baseline. Tier 2 watches the friction in your working day using calendar and communication metadata, never content. Neither on its own is enough.
Tier 3 only runs when both tiers agree that something unusual is happening, measured against your own history rather than a population threshold. Only then does the language model see a summary and draft a suggestion, and only then do you hear from Sloane.
Learning from what happened
Every suggestion is recorded with what you did about it and what followed. Over time that feedback tightens the gate: fewer notifications that miss, more that land. A coach that cannot tell whether it helped is not a coach.
Consent stays with you
Autonomous does not mean unilateral. Sloane proposes, you decide, and anything that would touch your calendar or reach another person requires explicit confirmation. Nothing about your personal readings is shared with your employer.
What is left to build
Delivery through Slack and email with one-tap responses, the outcome feedback loop running end to end, and a live twin state read before every turn so the agent always works from the current picture. This is the work in front of us now.

- Rarely. The gate requires an unusual reading in both your biometrics and your working day before anything is drafted, so quiet weeks stay quiet.
- Can Sloane change my calendar by itself?
- Not without your confirmation. Any action that affects your calendar or another person needs an explicit yes from you.
- When will Phase 4 be generally available?
- The gate and scoring run today. Proactive delivery and the outcome loop are being tested with the design cohort before wider release.
